#iiask Natacha GOUMBRI : Chapter 7.

“Accept whatever comes to you woven in the pattern of your destiny, for what could more aptly fit your needs?” — Marcus Aurelius.

Resilience is truly a remarkable word, one that perfectly epitomizes our today's guest. I had the pleasure of meeting Natacha back in 2018, around the same time I encountered the very first guest of this show. It was during our time studying together at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) that our paths crossed. Natacha, driven by her passion for knowledge, then embarked on a journey to Wuhan to pursue her Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Little did she know that her time in Wuhan would coincide with the onset of the COVID-19 crisis. Despite the distance and the difficulties posed by the pandemic, we managed to stay connected throughout those trying times. And finally, in February 2023, we were blessed with the opportunity to embark on an unforgettable trip together in Guangzhou.

This journey not only allowed us to explore the vibrant city and immerse ourselves in the rich culture of the City of Rams but also helped me to encircle much better the character. If I had to define her, I would say that she is not only very intelligent, but she's also a hustler and a velvet fist in an iron glove* or in simple terms, a chocolate fondant. Natacha's story is a powerful reminder that with resilience in our hearts, we can overcome any obstacle that life throws our way. Welcome to the 7th episode of #iiaskyou.

Fun fact, as I was looking at the meaning of the name Natacha, I learned that in Zambia, Natacha (Natasha) means 'Thank you'. So natasha Natacha for taking part in our project and thank you dear reader for your time and support.
