Hi dear reader! Hope you're doing well. Today I want to introduce to you a project I've been thinking about for more than one year now. I started planning it months ago, and I am really excited to share it with you today. Especially since this project is not just mine, but ours. Yes, because for this, I'll need more than your reading time, more than your comments, and more than your likes. I'll need your advice. I'll need your life experience. I'll need YOU. And it will be a real honor if you're willing to write this book with me.
Concept:
To put it simply: #iiaskyou is 20-30 minutes of exchange, life experience sharing, and advice. The principle is: I will ask you 14 questions about yourself. Yea! Because I think each one of us can inspire the others. No need to be famous, or whatever. You just have to be you. And believe me, you are way more enough than you can imagine.
PS: If you noticed, instead of I ask you, it's a 2i (#ii), reference to my name.
Origin:
Being an INFJ-T, I always tended to be a listener than a speaker. And after over 20 years, there is one thing that I noticed: Each of us loves to be -truly- listened to. I insist on the 'truly' because it makes all the difference. I think in today's society we are less and less present to others. We tend not to listen, or even when we do, we do it only with one ear. We seem always more concerned about what happens anywhere but with the person in front of us. It's a fact: we lack good listeners. So, I will do the best I can to be the listener you need.
For this concept, I've been inspired by Anas Bukhash, entrepreneur and host of #ABTalks. I don't really remember how I discovered the show, and even if it's in Arabic/English, two languages that are not my mother tongue, I still enjoy watching it. What I love the most about this show is that it gives people the opportunity to truly express themselves. And I admire the kindness and compassion of the host, one of my role models, by the way.
#iiaskyou season 1:
For this first try, I'm planning to record 10 episodes. I'll not change the questions for the 1st Season, which means that all 10 participants will answer the same 14 questions. I know what you might think. But believe me, I can ask the same questions to over 100 people, but still be able to draw wisdom from each other's answers. I cannot resist telling you what the questions will be, but I'll try to keep the secret until chapter 1.
